Three ways to practice your public speaking: monthly, on-demand, or at your own pace
Hybrid Club Meeting
Our main monthly meeting combines in-person and online attendance. Enjoy prepared speeches, impromptu speaking practice (Table Topics), and speech evaluations, all in one session.
Mini Meetings
Need extra practice? Request an online mini meeting anytime. Perfect for rehearsing an upcoming speech, preparing for a contest, or working on a workplace presentation.
What Happens at a Meeting
A typical meeting runs about 2 hours and includes these activities
Prepared Speeches
Members deliver speeches they've prepared in advance, ranging from 5 to 7 minutes. Each speech follows a project from the Pathways learning program.
Table Topics
Impromptu speaking practice! A Table Topics Master poses questions and members respond with 1 to 2 minute answers. Great for thinking on your feet.
Speech Evaluations
Trained evaluators give detailed, encouraging feedback on each prepared speech, pointing out strengths and offering specific suggestions for improvement.
Meeting Roles
Members take turns as Timer, Grammarian, Ah-Counter, and other roles, building leadership skills while supporting the meeting.
